As one of Jacksonville's first outpatient imaging providers for North Florida, Medical Diagnostic Center's (MDC) foundation is our uncompromising commitment to quality and patient care. Our MDC family is composed of our board certified radiologist, registered technologists, competent clerical staff, and a strong business team.
      Each day our outpatient centers serve numerous patients in need of diagnostic imaging. Physicians refer their patients to Medical Diagnostic Center for several reasons including exceptional quality in care, images, timely response in the delivery of reports, and above all the trust in our medical services. These factors are critical in determining patient care and treatment. Medical Diagnostic Center strives to deliver compassionate care and treatment. Therefore our mission is to deliver "The Pictures of Health" in order to meet the expectations of our community.

National organizations set high standards for training and continuing education for all staff who operate diagnostic imaging equipment.  Only the people who pass rigorous testing and comply with ongoing education requirements are entitled to retain their credentials.  At Medical Diagnostic Center, only registered technologists are permitted to perform imaging procedures.  This policy helps assure patient and physician of the highest standards of quality.

Congress enacted the mammography quality standards act (MQSA) to ensure that all women have access to quality mammography for the detection of breast cancer in its earliest, most treatable stages. In the fall of 2004, Congress reauthorized MQSA, extending the program to 2007.
     MDC is proud to announce that we comply not only with the MQSA, but we also have earned accreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR) for our mammography program, acknowledging the quality of our staff, equipment, and processes.

MDC employs three field representatives who have the mission of staying in constant contact with the doctors who order tests from MDC. They help assure that reports are delivered in a timely manner, and work to make the scheduling process as simple as possible. Their goal is to constantly improve the quality of service to physician offices.
