1. The Order from your doctor   

Your doctor is concerned about your safety.  He knows if there are any risks to the study, and balances them against the benefit they can provide.  Even though you may be expecting to get a scan, it may be that the best thing to do is hold off until a better time.  After your doctor evaluates you, he may determine that a diagnostic imaging test will help monitor your condition. The tests by themselves do not make you any better, but they can help your doctor tell more about how to help you.  Only a doctor can write an order for a diagnostic imaging procedure.  The Order starts the six-step process that finally results in your doctor receiving a report from us.
Our location on University Avenue is across the street from Memorial Hospital. This is the location of our open superconducting MRI system.
