though you may be expecting to get a scan, it may be that the best thing to
do is hold off until a better time. |

your doctor evaluates you, he may determine that a diagnostic imaging test
will help monitor your condition. The tests by themselves do not make you
any better, but they can help your doctor tell more about how to help you.
Only a doctor can write an order for a diagnostic imaging procedure.
